We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with proficiency in various editing software and tools. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in bringing our visual content to life, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the editing process.

Duties

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that aligns with project goals and creative direction.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid for video editing tasks.
• Enhance video content through motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D.
• Conduct post-production processes including color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects integration.
• Manage video assets using content management systems and FTP for efficient file transfers.
• Perform photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Capture One as needed for supplemental content.
• Create engaging graphics and typography elements that complement video narratives using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
• Stay updated on industry trends in videography, graphic design, and content creation to continually improve skills and output quality.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential; experience with Avid is a plus.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows including video editing, audio editing, color grading, and motion graphics.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D animation techniques using tools like Maya is advantageous.
• Experience in filming and videography is preferred to enhance the overall production quality.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
