Job Description: C&I Engineering is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team! Description: Senior Process Engineer About the opportunity: We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Process Engineer to help us achieve our company mission. This person will be part of the Process team, which is responsible for developing process designs for oil and gas refineries, among other clients, both at a high conceptual level and detailed design. C&I is an employee-owned, full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management and procurement services to various clients. Primarily, C&I serves the industries of oil and gas, food and beverage, and distilled spirits. Responsibilities include: Developing process designs for refinery and chemical plants, both at a high conceptual level and detailed design Performing a variety of computer-based modeling, design, engineering, and planning tasks on complex projects The Senior Process Engineer modifies and creates flow sheet simulations to establish the heat material balances Receiving direction from Project Manager or Project Engineer. Developing engineering and design techniques, procedures, and criteria to solve unique and complex engineering problems. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET-accredited engineering program with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience, or a bachelor's degree or higher from an ABET-accredited engineering technology program with 8 years of relevant experience. Ability to travel domestically or internationally to offices, vendor shops, and project sites. Travel may be up to 10% Must comply with drug-free workplace requirements. Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and pass any required background checks. Safely performs work in accordance with C&I and client requirements.
