Rapidly growing construction company focusing on federal government construction projects seeks a Construction Quality Control Manager. Immediate availability for qualified candidate

Management Requirements:

Detailed oriented individual with a working understanding of all construction trades

Minimum 5 years of commercial construction industry experience with a minimum 5 years experience managing commercial construction and Quality Control Manager project experience

Ensure that work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications, with ability to resolve conflicts or revisions to the plan

Inspect work site to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations

Communicate with project team regarding RFI's and Submittals.

Leverage communication skills in interactions with all project-related personnel

Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review

• Manage subcontractors and schedule trades to perform work

Leverage knowledge and experience of others in the project team as necessary

Assemble and forward project closeout documents that include O&M manuals, as-builts and warranties

Additional Requirements:

• A mature professional with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with government specifications and quality control/quality assurance procedures
• Corps of Engineers quality control (CQC) training and certification within the last five years
• Proficiency with Web based interactive programs and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
