ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quality Control Manager plays a vital role in upholding the highest standards of product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across our Ready Mix operations. In this position, you will not only manage traditional quality control responsibilities but also collaborate closely with the Ready Mix Sales Team and Technical Services Department to provide accurate and timely concrete mix design submittals for our customers, from Pueblo to Fort Collins. You will help maintain the Quadrel Quality Management System, ensuring pricing accuracy, material setup, and entry of third-party test reports. SAP-related quality maintenance will also be part of your responsibilities. As our operations expand, this role may lead to supervising a dedicated team crucial to these functions.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications, documenting, and certifying that the cement shipped meets all applicable requirements.
• Overseeing all Mix Design Submittals across the Mountain Region for RMX.
• Maintaining Quadrel Materials Management, including pricing accuracy.
• Managing SAP Mix Management and Command Mix Management.
• Coordinating Batch Plant Materials Management.
• Conducting Specification Review.
• Managing relationships with the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Ensuring that all Quality Department areas operate safely and responsibly regarding environmental concerns.
• Collaborating with other departments to foster continuous improvements in procedures, materials, testing schedules, and equipment.
• Working closely with sales representatives to drive product improvements and develop new product lines.
• Formulating quality policies and strategies tailored to the plant's needs.
• Qualifying alternative raw materials based on chemical and physical attributes.
• Planning and executing daily QA/QC activities.
• Establishing effective relationships with customer service, sales, and plant personnel.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree or 5 - 7 years of equivalent experience
Preferred Additional Education: Master's degree in Engineering or Science
Required Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Office, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Spreadsheets, Documents, Drive)
- Experience with Quadrel
- SAP experience is a plus

Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and the proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
