  • Vessel Operations & Maintenance

    • Safely pilot single-outboard boats (up to 30 ft) for deployments, test missions, and routine transport

    • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues

    • Oversee fueling, docking, anchoring, and vessel cleaning

  • Logistics & Coordination

    • Plan and execute transportation of equipment, including hauling trailers, towing vessels, and arranging freight/shipping

    • Coordinate with marinas, customs, freight carriers, and service vendors

    • Track inventory of spare parts, safety gear, and operational supplies

  • Safety & Compliance

    • Maintain vessel and personnel logs; conduct safety drills and enforce all USCG regulations

    • Ensure all certificates, licenses, and insurance policies are current and filed appropriately

  • Cross-Functional Support

    • Assist engineering teams with deploying and recovering maritime robotics prototypes

    • Provide on-site logistical support during field tests and demonstrations

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for outside contractors and port authorities
