An educational opportunity is available for a Music Therapist to support K-12 students in the Houston surrounding areas. This per diem contract position offers the chance to engage with a diverse student population, delivering therapeutic music interventions that foster emotional, cognitive, and social development.

Location: Houston, TX (Surrounding Areas) Employment Type: Per Diem (2 Days a Week) Qualifications:

• Texas Standard Educator Certificate with Music EC-12 specialization
• Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy or related field
• Newly certified or experienced Music Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group music therapy sessions aligned with students educational and therapeutic goals
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines
• Adapt musical activities to meet diverse learning needs across K-12 grade levels
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment that supports student growth and wellbeing
