Position : Lead Java Developer (Java, API & Integration, Node.js, GCP)

Location : Albany, NY/Buffalo, NY/Cleveland, OH/Columbus, OH Onsite

Duration : 1 year

Are you an experienced Lead Developer / Tech Lead with deep expertise in Java, APIs, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)? We're looking for a dynamic leader to design, build, and scale enterprise applications while guiding a high-performing team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of scalable, high-performance applications.
• Design and implement APIs, integrations, and microservices.
• Drive cloud-native solutions leveraging GCP (App Engine, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine) .
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Mentor and guide developers, enforcing coding and design best practices.
• Integrate with third-party APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years in software development ( Java, Spring Boot, Node.js ).
• 5+ years in a leadership/Tech Lead role mentoring teams.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, microservices, and system integrations .
• Hands-on expertise with GCP services .
• Solid experience with SQL, Unix/Linux, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines .
• Bonus: Kafka, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile methodologies, monitoring tools .
