Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/layouts; install piping, valves, fittings, and fixtures
• Diagnose and fix leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures; perform preventive maintenance
• Follow local, state, and national plumbing codes at all times
• Coordinate with supervisors, trades, and warehouse for materials and scheduling
• Complete daily timesheets, material logs, and as-built documentation

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Journeyman Plumber license
• 3–5 years’ commercial/industrial plumbing experience
• Proficient with copper, PVC/CPVC, cast iron, and soldering/brazing
• Knowledge of backflow assemblies, grease traps, and commercial water heaters
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

• Field-based work throughout Grand Rapids and nearby areas
• Occasional work in wet, confined, or elevated settings
• Must pass drug screening and background check; adhere to safety policies
