Duties:

1. Startup of the plant to include water pumps
2. Communicate with contracted trucks to ensure an efficient flow of material to the plant
3. Daily maintenance to include:
   1. Greasing plant machinery
   2. Checking the wire cloth (screens) for wear
   3. Addressing areas of the crusher that need repair
4. Monitor pond levels
5. Assures that Bin Truck Driver is following through with end of shift maintenance to include shoveling of tail pullies
6. Reports to the plant supervisor when an item needs maintenance
7. Records the water pump hourly usage and reports to the plant supervisor, daily
8. Records the plant production of aggregates and reports the tonnage to the plant supervisor
9. Inspects assigned fire extinguishers located at plant locations on a monthly basis
10. Backup to the Bin Truck Driver/Dump Truck Driver
11. Other duties as assigned or as necessary
12. Customer Relations
13. Fully understand and follow Carroll Concrete's philosophy

Desired Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills:

1. Must be dependable, a team player and be safety conscious
2. Must be able to deal professionally with plant employees and other drivers
3. Common sense and good judgement and willingness to work
4. Excellent defensive driving skills

• Each worker is responsible for his/her own safety and for the safety of others around them.
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
• Experience:
• Previous experience working on a crushing facility is preferred
• Loader operating experience is preferred
• CDL-B Preferred

Restrictions:

1. Must be able to maneuver in and out of equipment safely
2. Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75lbs. multiple times throughout the workday
3. Must inspect all areas of equipment and plant, daily
4. Must preform plant maintenance
5. Perform multiple tasks under stressful situations over long periods of time while maintaining proper composure
6. Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary

Part of the Crusher Operator's job will be "other" tasks/duties as assigned or as necessary.
