Job Description

Summary

The After School Teacher is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and quality of education, for all children within the program’s care. . Program is a 10 month contract(Sept-June), hours are 2:30-5:30.

Duties

·
· Develop general educational curriculum collaborate with staff to develop positive learning activities.
· Adherence to state and local regulations.
· Work closely with other program staff.
· Maintain communications with parents of current and prospective students through direct conversation, maintain and promote positive community relationships.

Requirements

· Professional experience in a school or comparable program.
· Strong oral and written communications skills.
· Ability to work well with others.
· A strong understanding of child development.
· Excellent organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· CPR and First Aid certification.
· Must pass health screening.
